ZALKAL at the DPG Spring Meeting 2026

At the Spring Meeting of the Condensed Matter Section of the German Physical Society (DPG) from March 8-13 in Dresden, the ZALKAL team will organize a tutorial and give two presentations:

• Jonas Lähnemann, Aidan Campbell, et al.: “HyperSpy – Multidimensional data analysis using Python” (hands-on tutorial); The materials for this tutorial are published on Github

• Domenik Spallek: “Deformation tensor around dislocations in GaN studied by electron backscatter diffraction and cathodoluminescence spectroscopy,” (lecture)

• Mikel Gómez Ruiz: “Investigation of exciton diffusion in GaAs nanowires via cathodoluminescence spectroscopy” (Lecture)

Our article on cubic GaN was featured on the front page of J. Appl. Phys.   ZALKAL at conferences in spring and summer 2026
